At Thamel Shop, we want you to absolutely love your purchase! If for any reason you're not satisfied, we offer hassle-free returns within 30 days of receiving your order.

Important Notes About Handmade Items

Many of our items are handmade and may show slight variations in size, color, or weight. These are not defects but unique characteristics of artisan craftsmanship. We encourage thoughtful purchases to minimize returns.


What Can Be Returned?

  • Eligible Items: Unused and unworn items in their original condition with tags and packaging.
  • Excluded Items:
    • Clearance items (discounted by 50% or more)
    • Jewelry
    • Gift cards

Return Fees

  • Free Returns: For store credit.
  • Refunds: A 10% handling fee applies.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping and shipping for exchanged items.
    • Initial delivery costs are non-refundable. If your order included free shipping, delivery costs will be deducted from your refund.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at info@thamelshop.com.au to request a return.
  2. Upon approval, we’ll provide detailed return instructions and a return address.
  3. Important: Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
  4. Ensure items are unused and in their original condition (avoid visible stains, makeup, strong odors, or damage).

Processing Returns

  • Store Credit: Issued immediately upon receipt of the returned item(s) and valid for 3 years.
  • Refunds: Processed within 2 business days after receiving your return. Refunds (minus the handling fee) may take 2–10 business days to appear in your account.

Online shopping should be stress-free! All purchases are covered by our Free Guaranteed Value Protection, ensuring full reimbursement for items lost or damaged during transit.

  • What to Do:

    • Do not accept visibly damaged parcels from the courier.
    • If the contents are damaged, take clear photos of the damaged items and packaging. Submit these for investigation.
    • Claims for damage must be initiated within 3 days of delivery. Keep the original packaging for evidence.

  • Investigation Timeline:

    • Claims for lost or damaged items may take 1–6 weeks.
    • Replacements are subject to stock availability.

European Union 14-day cooling off period


Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
